List every included room, circuit, device, fixture, appliance, alarm, exterior point, panel, subpanel, grounding item, and service change. State what existing wiring will be removed, abandoned, or remain active.

Access and finish restoration

Basements, attics, crawlspaces, chases, closets, plaster, drywall, tile, cabinets, insulation, and fire-stopping affect routing. The electrician may not include patching, painting, flooring, cabinet, or insulation work.

Older-building conditions

Existing splices, altered circuits, knob-and-tube, ungrounded wiring, crowded panels, damaged insulation, mixed additions, moisture, asbestos, and pre-1978 painted surfaces can change the safe sequence. Covered painted-surface disturbance may require Vermont lead-safe practices.

Outages, occupancy, and phasing

A phased occupied project can require repeated protection, temporary arrangements, mobilization, inspections, and restoration. Vacant access may be faster but still needs a documented safe condition at the end of each work period.
