Permits, inspection and code

Garage receptacles carry ground-fault requirements, and a ceiling receptacle is normally required for a door opener. A detached garage requires its own disconnecting means and a grounding electrode system regardless of how it is fed, and buried feeders have depth and inspection requirements.
